Seminar on Censorship

I have worked on designing a seminar for a group of 4 people as part of LIBR 508 course work (Information Practices in Contemporary Society). The seminar's main objective is to summarize and critically approach readings on the subject of censorship in libraries and internet filtering.

In the seminar, I have focused on comparing between micro and macro level intellectual control of printing and the internet. I used a few case studies to showcase the differences in practices in different parts of the world (Canada, USA, and Egypt). The seminar included group interactive activities, discussions, and storytelling.
